Getting to Faith Camp
By Car By Train By Bus By Plane

The Peterborough Arena is right next to the A1(M), easily accessible from all parts of the UK. The closer you get you will also notice Yellow sign posts with "Faith" written on them directing you straight to the Arena.

Peterborough train station is on the East Coast Main Line, less than an hour north of London. Visit National Rail Enquires for a full list of connections. You can then take a taxi from the station to the Arena.

A number of coach companies provide routes to Peterborough coach station which is in the city centre. Visit the National Express website to see if they travel from where you are to Peterborough.

Both Luton and Stansted airports are little more than an hour away and you can continue your journey to Peterborough by rail or coach. Alternatively you could hire a car and drive to the Peterborough Arena.

Faith Camp is a self-catering event and you will need to bring your own tent or caravan if you are staying on site. There are great facilities at the Peterborough Arena for toilets, showers as well as a range of food outlets and a general store.

If you're not a regular camper and don't have all the gear then why not consider hiring a caravan or a pre-erected tent? You might be very surprised at how inexpensive the pre-erected tent option is and how easy it makes camping.

If camping is not your thing and you prefer the comfort of a normal bed there are many great B&B's around the Peterborough area as well as small cottage lets and some very good hotels. For more information the Peterborough Tourist Information website:

Below you will find a list of Frequently Asked Questions about Faith Camp which will hopefully help you find out more about it. On your right is a video showing some highlights from last year to give you a taste of life on-site!

We look forward to seeing you at Faith Camp 2015!

Frequently asked questions...

+ - The Basics

  • What is Faith Camp?
Faith Camp is a self catering event: You need to bring your own tent or caravan if you are staying on site unless you have made alternative accommodation arrangements. The site is arranged in units where you can either camp with friends or where you can make a whole load of new friends… unit life is one of the most exciting elements of being at Faith Camp.

  • Do I need to book in advance?
It is preferable that you book in advance as it is cheaper and you are more likely to be able to be placed on a unit with people you may know. Limited spaces are available to people who turn up on the day, but obviously this cannot be in early to avoid disappointment!

  • Do you offer group bookings?
Yes! We love the fact that many Churches attend Faith Camp as a group and experience the whole week together. Information about Group bookings for Faith Camp is available below, so check it out before making your group booking to grab a bargain!

  • Can I pay in instalments?
Yes! When you check out using our Online Booking system you'll find all the information you need about making instalment payments. Please note, you'll need to pay in full before entry on-site.

+ - Accommodation & what to bring

  • No tent or caravan? No worries!
Every year we recommend a number of local companies who will be able to hire tents and caravans off...You can even get them to put the tent up for you! More information about our recommended hire companies will be coming soon.

  • What do I need to pack?
Whilst we are not camping in a remote wilderness it is important to remember that you are still camping, so there are a few things you may want to make sure you pack:

    • Sleeping bag
    • Air bed, camp bed or roll mat
    • Check you've got your tent poles and tent pegs! It sounds obvious but you'd be amazed how many people forget to pack them... if this is the one time of year your tent comes out of the loft it may well be worth doing a practice set up in your garden to check you have everything you need.
    • Ice packs for your cool box
    • Torch
    • Radio - so you can check out Faith Camp's very own radio station KFM106.2
    • Bible, notepad and pen!

+ - Getting to Faith Camp & what happens when I arrive?

  • What's the best way to get to site?
The Peterborough Arena is really easy to find, situated just off the A1(M). Check out the map above and directions above in our Peterborough Arena section.

  • What do I do when I arrive?
You will be met at the gate by one of the welcome team who will book you in and tell you how to get to your unit. They will give you a event wristband which you must wear all week so everybody can see you're allowed on site. Once you arrive at your unit you'll be greeted by your unit host. They are your host for the entire week so please ask them any questions you have – they are there to help you.

  • What's the schedule look like?
We'll be posting information soon about the Schedule for Faith Camp so keep an eye out for the details or visit our Facebook page to keep up to date with all the latest information:

  • I don't know much about God...
That's not a problem at all! You don't need to be a Christian to come to Faith Camp, in fact we're going to have some special sessions for anyone who wants to know more about God...why not come along!

  • Can I volunteer?
There are loads of ways you can get involved across the site from Security to stewarding and First Aid to loading trucks. If you would like to help out in any way please contact the Faith Camp office on or call +44 (0)1293 851543. Please note that in certain areas of work we will require people to have CRB/DBS checks or relevant qualifications, however in other areas you will just need a servant heart and a desire to bless others – we look forward to hearing from you!

+ - Handy info for parents

  • Child Registration
Your children are important and we want to make sure they have a fab week too! To register your children for their groups when you arrive at Faith Camp, please go to the appropriate venue. More info can be found in your Event Guide which you'll receive when you arrive on-site.

  • Babies/Children in the Arena
Baby changing facilities are available in the Arena, as is a baby feeding area. Please take your child out of the meeting if they are distracting others. Buggies are welcome in the Arena, you will find a special area reserved for parents with buggies close to the baby feeding & changing areas.

  • Safety
Your Children are given wristbands which you can write their names on that they must wear at all times on site. Children must be supervised at all times on site.

  • Lost Children

+ - Special Needs at Faith Camp

  • Disabled Guests
Designated parking is available by the Arena (Parking passes can be obtained from the Booking Office). Special showers/toilets in permanent amenity blocks are marked on the site-map in your Event Guide. Stewards in the Arena can indicate areas specifically reserved for wheelchair users.

  • Tell us about any special needs
If you are a parent or carer of a child who needs extra care please contact us via emailing or telephone 01293 851543 to let us know. Each of our children and young people's groups has a leader who coordinates care for those with special needs. We will do our best to accommodate each child and young person's needs during Faith Camp however this is dependent on the skills of our team and the resources available to us so unfortunately we cannot guarantee to meet your child's needs.

+ - Additional Information

  • Early Morning Prayer & Praise
This is a great opportunity for you to start the day in a faith-filled atmosphere, getting your focus on the Lord in a more intimate setting. There are venues around the site where each meeting will be facilitated by a Kingdom Faith Leader. Join them for half an hour from Sunday - Friday at 08:00-08:30.

  • Offerings at Faith Camp
There will be opportunities to give into the work and ministry of Kingdom Faith during Faith Camp and you will find more information about this in your programme when you arrive on-site. You can make the most of you gift by filling in one of our gift-aid forms which will be available in the Arena, please ask the stewards for more information.

  • Mobile Phone and Laptop Charging
You can charge your mobile phones and laptops at the Info Point in The Atrium at a cost of £1 per charge.

  • Time for Bed
Just think of your unit like your neighbourhood and just like a neighbourhood you don't want neighbours that are noisy after a certain time of night, so in order to keep the site as peaceful as possible we'd really appreciate it if you were on your unit by 23:30 and quiet by 23:45.

If you don't see your question listed here please email or call +44 (0)1293 851543.

Faith Camp couldn't happen without the huge army of volunteers who give countless hours of their time each year to make it such a success. From the Arena stewards to the catering team and the childrens workers to the afternoon sports co-ordinators there are hundreds of jobs to be done before, during and after the week itself. It's fantastic to know that Faith Camp has been a life-changing week for thousands of people for over 30 years, and you could be part of the team of people who make Faith Camp 2015 happen!

In most areas no specialist knowledge is needed, however, there are others where that is exactly what we need; essential key skills without which Faith Camp just could not function. This is an amazing opportunity to get involved and see first hand how God can use you to bless others.

If you'd like to volunteer start your Online Booking as usual and select the "Volunteer" option when asked what ticket you would like. You'll then be able to fill in your Volunteer Application and select which team(s) you'd like apply to be a part of.

Once we have reviewed your application we'll be in touch to let you know more.
