We see that just as the father in the story of the prodigal son, God's love as a Father is so great towards us that He longs for the moment that we return and without one ounce of judgement in His heart He runs out to greet us and welcomes us back into relationship. As we too come to our senses just as the younger son did, and repent of our wrongs we are restored to sonship in the Father's house
