SUNDAY MORNING
11am to 12.30pm @ Scarborough Library, Vernon Road
Come and encounter the Lord with us and receive your healing! We are experiencing an outpouring of the Spirit here, people are receiving the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit and being healed – come and receive your miracle! Recently when Pastor Colin Urquhart was visiting us he saw a huge flame over Scarborough and then many other flames in other towns and villages – that flame has been lit! Come and receive the Fire for yourself, your church and your region!
Sunday morning is our main celebration, a time for the whole family to bring friends along and enjoy the presence of God together. So what can you expect in addition to the warm welcome? We meet in Scarborough Central Library in Vernon Road. Parking is easy in the Brunswick Car Park or the Palm Court Hotel Car Park, but you do have to pay. If you have a disk for the disk zone (and we can give you one) you can park for free in Valley (you’ll see it on the up) and you can walk up to the library through the park. There’s no problem dropping people off right outside the library if that’s easier for you. If it’s your first time we’d recommend getting to the library by about 10.30 to give you time to sort parking etc.
The Library itself is open on Sunday morning so you just walk through the main entrance hall where you’ll find some guys from the church waiting to greet you. Instead of going into the books area you head straight up the stairs to the Concert Hall – there’s also a lift for those who would prefer.
The morning celebrations kicks off at 11.00, with everyone together. There’s no books, or special standing or sitting to follow, just come in, sit down in the comfy cinema style seats and relax. You will find most people will stand to sing, but don’t feel pressured to join in if you don’t know the words! Although to help everyone the words appear on the screen at the front of the hall.
After the worship time the children have their own fun sessions with the children’s leaders in the rooms next door. J24/:7 seniors (years 4 to 7) in one room and 3 year olds to year 3 in the other. Parents are welcome to join their children. We don’t have the facilities to run a crèche yet, but there is an area in the younger children’s room for parents to look after their own children
The rest of us have a word from God, testimonies, film clips etc and we all join up again at 12.30 for a free tea or coffee in the Crush Hall.
Sundays. 11.00 – 12.30 Scarborough Central Library.
