SUNDAY MORNING
11am to 12.45pm @ The Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough
Come and encounter the Lord with us and receive your healing! We are experiencing an outpouring of the Spirit here, people are receiving the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit and being healed ? come and receive your miracle! With the promises of God over us and exciting prophecies from Men of God like Dr. Colin Urquhart, Dr James Maloney, Pastor Clive Urquhart, Bengt Wedemalm to name a few - we are so passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God here on earth as it is in heaven!
Sunday morning is our main celebration, a time for the whole family to bring friends along and enjoy the presence of God together. So what can you expect in addition to the warm welcome? We meet in the McCarthy Auditorium at the Stephen Joseph Theatre opposite the Railway Station. This premier location is warm and comfortable and is just great for our needs. We use extra facilities in the building for our children and before and after the celebration we have coffee and tea relaxing and chatting together in the beautiful SJT bar and restaurant.
Parking can be found on street, although you will need a free disk which we can give you, or for greater ease there are various pay to use Car Parks nearby such as the Brunswick Car Park or meter parking on Valley Bridge. If it's your first time we'd recommend getting to Scarborough by about 10.20 to give you time to sort parking etc.
When you arrive at the Theatre just walk through the main entrance door where you'll find some guys from the church waiting to greet you. They will be delighted to help you with directions to the bar/restaurant, if you are early, and then onto the Auditorium. There are quite a few stairs, but there is also a lift to both locations.
The morning celebrations kicks off at 11.00, with everyone together in the Auditorium. There are no books, or special standing or sitting to follow, just come in, sit down in the comfy cinema seats and relax. You will find most people will stand to sing, but don't feel pressured to join in if you don't know the words! To help everyone the words of the songs appear on the screen at the front of the hall. You will see people put their hands in the air and get enthusiastic about Jesus, but please remember you are free to do as you wish.
After the worship time the children have their own fun sessions with the children's leaders in their own room. J24/:7 seniors (years 4 to 7) in one room and 3 year olds to year 3 in the other. Parents are welcome to join their children. We don't have staffed crèche facilities yet, but there is an area at the back of the auditorium with toys for parents to look after their own children, where everything that is going on can be heard.
The rest of us still in the Auditorium then have someone speak to us for a while (a word from God), stories , film clips etc and we all join up again at 12.30/45 for a free tea or coffee in the bar and restaurant. Our booking in the Theatre ends at 2.00pm
