The Marriage Course
Helping you keep your marriage on track...
If your marriage were a car, would it pass its MOT? Or might it - just possibly - fail on one or two points?
In life, of course, our marriages are not exposed to a rigorous annual health check so the odd marital “niggle” can just be quietly swept under the carpet. Until the wheels fall off...then things get serious. People are hurt: you, your spouse, the kids. And other “road users”: the relations, your friends and so on.
Marriages are like cars! If both are going to work safely and be a valuable asset, then we really will need to look after them properly. So let’s do just that - and keep our marriages on track!
To get things moving(!), Kingdom Faith Church will be starting a new Marriage Course in June. Consisting of seven sessions running on Monday nights at Roffey Place, this course is for any couple looking for practical support to strengthen their relationship.
The Marriage Course was developed by Nicky & Sila Lee (authors of “The Marriage Book”) and is based on Christian principles but is designed for all couples with or without a Church background.
Some couples do the course to invest in their relationship, others need more urgent help. Either way, the course offers a lifetime of practical ideas and tools to help keep your marriage strong and on track.
This course will help you to:
- Understand each other’s needs
- Communicate more effectively
- Grow closer by learning methods to resolve conflict
- Recover from the ways you may have hurt each other
- Recognise how your upbringing affects your relationship
- Improve relationships with parents and in-laws
- Develop greater sexual intimacy
- Discover each other’s “love language”
...and much, much more!
Course cost covers a Marraige Course manual for both participants and a 2-course meal at each session.
