Daily Devotions

Each day during the 21 days of prayer & fasting we will be posting a daily devotion looking at what it means to live ‘All For His Glory.’

This plan looks at how God’s glory is revealed in the Bible and how people responded to it. The first week focuses on defining God’s glory, the second week on what it means to be a carrier of God’s glory through the Holy Spirit, and the third week looks at what it means to live a life of worship.

On some days there will be a video blog with the devotion for you to watch alongside the scripture passages that we’re reading on that given day, on other days there will be an audio version for you to listen to. As we go through each passage it’s important that we apply what we read and pray it out over our lives. One of the way you can do this is by using the acronym SOAP - Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer.

Day 21 - Sunday 30 January
Theme of the week: Living lives of worship

Today we read about our future hope as Christians: a new heaven and a new earth. Whatever we go through in this life as we live all for God’s glory, we can be confident one day every tear will be wiped away and every wrong will be put right.

Notice how in the city of God there is no Temple because the Lord and the Lamb are the Temple, God’s glory no longer needs to be housed in a building.

Let’s thank God for all He has revealed to us during this plan and resolve to live all for His glory as we look ahead for the day when we live live in perfect harmony with that glory.Theme for the week: defining God’s Glory
